Virgil Calejesan : Explorer
I was put onto this earth to ask questions, to help find insight, and to evangelize the Oxford comma.
At Anduril, I design and extend modern command and control interfaces for the defense of our nation and allies. At SpaceX, I defined enterprise and consumer software for manufacturing and Starlink, SpaceX’s mission to bring internet to the globe. On the day-to-day, I concept experiences using research, workflow mapping, prototyping, content writing, and user testing. Each project is different, every timeline tight; my approach is measured and surgical.
Previously, I managed space suit research and training for Final Frontier Design, a garments design studio and recurring NASA contractor. Before aerospace, past work includes pharmaceutical automation, heavy manufacturing, kitchenware, hotels and special events, and education consulting.
I hold degrees from Yale University and Pratt Institute and in my spare time, I provide admissions advice to aspiring college undergrads and MBAs. I delight in technical gear and, whenever possible, coffee and good company, ideally with a lakeside view.
